WOW! That looks nice. Looking forward to clips for sure.

Don't get your hopes up. The first clips will be recorded by me, so expect it to sound like arse no matter how good the pickup is.

Ok, the clip is DONE!

Sounds cr@p, and I played like it too because I had shiteloads of trouble getting this cr@p soundcard to work so I'm tired and I shouldve been asleep hours and $%&# tomorrow is going to hell at work and i'm probably gonna oversleep since I am so bloody tired and can only get like four hours before I have to get up for work but I $%&#ING FINISHED THE CLIP LIKE I PROMISED!
I've done a squillion takes I wasn't happy with, and it got progressively worse since I got more and more tired. However, I ended up getting a take I can *sort of* live with. Incidentally, taking my shirt off helped a lot with the playing.

Not surprisingly, the pickup is indeed a vicious little bugger and I hope this clip carries it across well enough:

It actually sounds real good man. The Pig-90 always interested me as well. I know how it is mixing songs late in the night. It's midnight and you say, "Lemme try one more thing." BOOM! It's 6 am and you feel like $hit. I think you should write a song about how work went the morning after. Brutal.

Thanks dude :)

The mixing itself took all of 5 minutes, so that wasn't the issue. I just had some technical problems getting the actual recording to $%&#ing work in the first place :( After that, I was already tired and my playing was less than impressive, so it took a while to get a take that was sort of acceptable. Still not happy with the playing at all, but screw it, that'll do for now.

But I must say again: Rocking shirtless improved my playing a whole bunch! Thankfully the pics coming up now do not feature that.

Well, well, there it is!

Pretty, isn't it?

Screw you, Autofocus, screw you hard.

Aaaah

As cool as I think the name "Para Bellum" is, I vote for this to be renamed "Punt Cuncher".

Okay, so I had it in the jam room yesterday. Played it over a Peavey 6505 and HOLY shite is this thing noisy. Luckily my band plays some kind of chaotic post-hardcore mixed with a whole buttload of black metal dissonance and other yucky stuff in it, so it's not like the crazy feedback was out of place or anything.

Apart from that, it sounded absolutely perfect. Extremely harsh, heavy, and most of all ANGRY. It was absolutely perfect for what I need, and I'm definitely ordering one for myself, come payday.

this is awesome! i mean, the clip sounds really terrific!
i'm about to buy a set of HSP90 for a Les Paul Studio, i have some doubt about the neck unit but i'm doing this exactly to have a Pig90 in bridge position...

BUT

now i'm really curious about this "new" beast... ceramic or A5? i really love C-pigs, by the way... doubts... doubts... :)
Mule, MQ, Stockholm, CS, RY, MM, PK, ANB, CNB, AWP, CWP, PiG90...

too many? ;)

wow, i know this is old, but any chance you have more audio clips of this pickup? it sounds like it would be amazing as I love the ceramic warpig, but want a P-90 for something a bit different
