The BD, I must say, is my all-time favorite Bareknuckle pickup. In my opinions it is almost the perfect "can do all" pickup.

In my Gibson SG the BD was too harsh for my setup: an old Ross Distortion (silicium clippers) and a Marshall JMP 2204 into 4 old G12-M25 greenbacks. The Super Distortion is a far better match, probably because the rest of my chain is quite "direct" and "spikey", but the SD lacks real definition and has squeeling problems ;)

Modular1, what tuning do you use the holydiver to play black metal?  Thanks,
