Is it possible to increase the scale length of a guitar?

I could probably source something similar for cheaper in a DIY store here in the UK, but I'm a lazy $hit, heh. Plus I know this one works, whereas my home-made remedy might just bugger up the wood inside my guitar and not do much else. I don't trust my DIY improvisation enough.

Cannae wait for them to get here! I checked my email yesterday about an hour after I ordered them and it said they had already gone to the dispatching process, which was impressive seeing as it was Sunday yesterday, heh.

ahh i presume it goes into the cavity to the claw side of the trem and just makes it so you can drop tune etc and still retain the dive capablities similar to the 2p trick (well 10p worth of 2ps)

he's got loads of great instructional vids on the site, very comprehensive and makes it less daunting for a beginner like me to try. If it goes tits-up I have Manson's down the road who I can give it to and go "Uh, yeah....could you fix this please?" heh.  :lol:
