Great to hear that you are pleased with the guitar. I have always liked the Les Paul but have considered myself a Fender player though with my purchase of the 339 that changed things a bit. One of these days I will get a Les Paul I reckon- certainly I fancy a Special ( a different beast I know) but something akin to yours one day. If my granny were alive she'd be on Ebay as we speak.

They are based on the burstbucker pickups with the bridge having alnico III to give a bit more punch - its quite gainy for a PAF
