Warpig Neck & Aftermath Bridge?
« on: February 28, 2011, 06:19:13 PM »
Hi!

Just as a quick question, would the Aftermath Bridge and the Warpig Neck match together?

I understand that the DC outputs are quite different, but the actually output that comes out is affected by magnets etc. I am wondering this because I have a WP calibrated set (ceramic bridge) but was thinking of rewinding to Aftermaths.  However, I love the neck WP for cleans and leads, as I like the warm, thick sound for it, but the bridge is a bit too fat/low end for my liking.

So really, is this a feasible combination?

Thanks for your help.

I find the warpig neck to be extremely, almost overbearingly dark sounding. It's also much hotter than the calibrated neck pickup in the aftermath set.

I haven't used an aftermath neck but by going off clips & descriptions (i know its not the best way to make decisions!) I'm sure it would do what you're after.
