I'm using a 1980 Maxon EQ pedal as a mid booster (works a lot like a TS9, but without the compression)

yeah  :D
sounds quite squished with the camera + youtube compression, but it's much more open and crunchy in person
the dark sludgy tone was intentional, though (maxed bottom control in the back of the amp, low presence setting, low master volume setting, maxed channel volumes)
it gets really tight with lower bottom combined with higher master volume and lower channel volume settings

this one isn't mine, though  :(
I have the Hyperdrive #2, but this one is kicking my amps ass  :D
I'm getting mine back to Zambelli to tweak it a bit

posted another sloppy quick video with another channel (my cam is cutting at 1:00  :?)
didn't mess with the controls, so this clip is darker (the camera is a bit off too)
