Very nice. It looked nice before the finish was added and now it looks really tasty.  One day I will have to get a lion too.

so how does the absence of the maple cap affect the tone? - I like the idea of a normal thickness LP without any maple cap.

Tone is a bit more open and hollow in the mids - the maple cap fleshes out those frequencies

Took another picture of the neck join with a new camera - pleased with the results
