Surely be a different dude, they guy i know is here in NZ.
Ive seen the set up on a couple of different hardcore bands pics from a few years ago, some deathwish bands i think. I know V4's have become a lot more sought after in recent years so maybe its become a more common set up?

the guy I know is in a Deathwish band. he used to run an 800 and a Sunn Beta lead but last time I saw him he was using the V4 and the 800 (2205). I have to say, the V4 sounded great. I chatted to him about it since it wasn't an amp im familiar with. He also blew his 4x12 with it when I saw it in use!
I don;t recall what splitter pedal he uses. I know a mutual friend of mine and that guy uses the Morley ABY.

Also i just found this whilst looking at small amp kits for a friend

http://www.musikding.de/product_info.php/info/p1105_A-B-Y-Switch.html

That one doesn't have the transformers to isolate the outputs so expect possible hum problems.

yeah I noticed.
I did remember that my Dimebag Wah can have 2 outputs. maybe that would work as a fixed Y.
doesn't feel ideal though.

So far the Radial and the TubeTown project look most interesting.

sounds a bit mental.

The main reason i provided that link is because you mentioned the enclosure and if i remember rightly from this morning they do one for 6 euro which should be fine for any design you go with!

I honestly don't know if there is any connection with Red Onion but I don't know. I seem to have misunderstood what you were asking too- sorry.

No need to apologize. That is a good site to know about.
The 2 heads into 1 cab switch does exist. I think Radial make a switch called the Headbone which does it.
It's more complex than an A/B because it needs a dummy load and I think, a make before break switch.

Toe-Knee, I can't see if those enclosures are pre drilled

maybe I should just invest in a drill bit, don't want to fork out for a bigger drill though.

Yes, that's correct. I have one of those, too. :)
