New Second hand pickup day.
I picked up a set of Sultans off the bay. I recently had them fitted into a 50th Edition Strat (Ash body maple neck). They replaced some fender custom 54 strat ones. The old pickups were not bad but the sultans are much better. I expected lovely sweet cleans and certainly got them. What surprised me was when they got dirty there is quite a beefy sound. I was not expecting it . Im not sure if it something I like or not at the moment. Though I am going to have some fun finding out in the next few weeks I suspect.
