This was written about in the latest issue of Premier Guitar. It's a great overview of the pedal, very enjoyable. Wish there were more like it!

I thought this would be appreciated on this forum - can't do without a wah.

Thanks for posting that - a very enjoyable hour.

I wasn't concentrating too hard for the last 15 minutes though. I was searching for my old Cry Baby

Found it :D... And it still works!! :o

It's lost it's little "Cry Baby" off the front (my girlfriend in the early 80s called it the "Humpus Lumpus", so I replaced the panel with one that said that ), and much of the writing's worn off the bottom. I can still make out "Made in Italy by Jen, etc" though.

Sounds FAR better than all the wah models in my Line6 and Vox modellors. Needs a damn good clean inside though... even in it's current state it's not too noisy as long as you use a battery not a power supply.

I'd forgotten how cute this thing was.

Actually, I'd got bored with it after half an hour's playing! Put it back in its bag and concentrated on something else instead...

At least I know I can still get the sounds if I want them, though...

yeah :)

they are fun to dick around with, but i have the same relationship with the effect. i did some mods to mine last year, and even took it to a show. the thing is its still nothing i *need* in my sound - and i'd much rather move around when i solo. i'm sure i'll use it in a song one day.
