Nope, it's the same bridge p/u. I think that's due to a few things:
1. Absolute first attempt at using mixing and mastering programs.
2. The "amp" wasn't my actual mic'd 6505 (as heard in the other clip), but a direct Garageband "Indie Fuzz" amp model I tweaked a bit.
3. The main culprit to that effect - I think - is a distinct sounding multiband EQ I mis-used in Izotope's mixing program, Alloy. It's meant to combine two guitar takes into one, but makes for a very large sound even as one track. However, as you said, very low-endy.

Garageband's amp models in regards to metal basically suck. However, I think a different sort of industrial sound can be struck. That's more or less what I was going for. On the drums, I wanted a gated electro sound combined with a raw 80's garage metal room sound / snare tone. Pretty wonky, I know. :p
