Wow, i'm sorry but that was absolutely horrible.   :(

I did say to each their own if they didn't like Metal.
"Would you like some lemon oil?"
"Oh, no thanks, I don't eat fruit."

I just made the mistake of not only exposing my ears to this, but also clicking on the 'machinae supremacy' link to the side. more europop synth metal, with a pop of a sci fi power metal twist maybe??? Of the two, at least Amaranthe seem the less cheesy of the two and at least have a catchy chours.

It was ok in the end cos I balanced it out with Obituary.

Sorry was a bit viscous there, but to say to each there own if they don't like metal is a little off.  I love metal...just don't consider this metal.. 8)

:D

well, I do like power metal, and I do like eurodance ;) and i do like alot of techno and rock crossovers.. but theres seems to be something a little bit too over the top about this stuff. needs to have a darker undertone somehow.

edit: theres also something about it that doesn't ring quite true, a lack of sincerity maybe

it sounds great, if a bit obvious, i think that's where you see your lack of sincerity XD. i mean, remove the guitars and the drums and keep the vocal lines and add more synth and you've got some hard edged electro right there, haha.

Hrm.. to me it sounds like a dumbed down version of Kamelot ... if only they would have stayed FOCUSED on the girl for more than half a second at the time..

Well, it's part power metal, after all.
