Yep - got £5k.  That was a scary trip to the bank this afternoon I tell you...

That sounds like a man that's never had to leave Paisley High Street's Bank Of Scotland with 65K in cash.

In a see through bag.

That they handed over the counter.

Loudly stating what they were handing over.

wow

i'm surprised they had £65k in liquid assets

 They did in 2008.

Yep, if you'd stuck some Painkillers in Francine (and routed it for a middle IT), you'd probably have bonded a bit better with her

I'm so glad you managed to shift her for what you wanted. I looked at it several times, but I just couldn't justify me spending that much on a guitar, no matter how much I fancied it... you were a lot closer to a PM from me than you might imagine though!

I've still got the Emeralds I got from you Jon!  The McCarty Korina is going back to stock over the weekend and I'll be hanging on to them.

I've had plenty of BKPs in the past: a Stormy Monday, Mules, Riff Raffs, a Black Dog, a Mississippi Queen, Holydivers, Emeralds and even a Warpig!  It's just that my current guitars are great as they are.

Thinking about it, I suppose I should have kept my Riff Raffs..

I know you were messing about mate, I was just curious to list those I've had  :)

The Emeralds are great pickups, and I'd love to try them in my Modern Eagle but that guitar's so good I daren't mess with it!

Brief aside, but I can't remember - did your Emeralds have gold screws and slugs, or just gold screws?  Can you get gold slugs?  (I'm thinking about getting something for my Washburn HB-50, my one and only gold hardware guitar)
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
