When it's good, it's good.  8)

Yep :) I've tried a few pickups in my SG and the best bridge pickup so far is the stock Gibson one! Kind of want to try a MQ to match the neck but the tapped Pig 90 was very underwhelming..

A very nice bunch of guitars you have there, Twinfan. I have a huge tele gas, and have an eye open when a right one drops in my lap.

Nearly 9000 posts and doesn't have a single BKP in his collection

I'm kidding around but you DO need a BKP equipped guitar

And a couple of Fenders, PRS.... but Francine's gone, surely there should be one Gibson?
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Nah, the PRS covers the twin humbucker base.  I've had P90s before and like the sound of them, but not for the music I play.

You might quite like the 4 or 5 Knaggs that just appeared in Sounds Great.
I hated the look of the first launch of their stuff.
But this stuff looks great. There's a single cut in the same colour as your Modern Eagle that looks pretty darn good

Yeah, Knaggs guitars are starting to grow on me.  The first few I saw seemed too fussy looking, but with simpler finishes they look good.

They've reviewed two in the latest Guitarist, the Strat-ish one (Severn) looks pretty cool.  I don't like the combined bridge/tailpiece on the Les Paul type, though (and it is rather similar to Hamer's Monaco models).

Interesting that they're using Duncan pickups.  I'd have expected something in-house, or at least something more "boutique" like Fralin or Lollar.

And now the McCarty Korina has gone, so that's just 5 guitars in the house  :o

The clearout has been strangely addictive, and incredibly satisfying, so now it's time to focus on playing!

I know what you mean mate. When I went from 8 down to 2 it felt good! Obviously I'm just a one guitar man at the moment but I reckon I'll never get above 3 in future.
I think I hate being indecisive.

It's strangely liberating, and a lot cheaper on strings!!!

Ha - and a lot less time consuming! It certainly didn't help me become a better guitarist though!

Less quantity but more quality rules.

Same goes for furniture, plugins in DAWs, lovers and booze. Ok, maybe not booze
