I'm a recent convert. I've never been a big PRS fan but tone wise I could easily get into one.
My first impression was it's like 75% a good LP with 25% of nice fender vibe in there.
Looks devide opinion but strap one on and I rekon most people would just concentrate on playing and really enjoy doing that....
People get too hung up on the looks - although personally I like the look of most PRS models so it's not an issue anyway. I can live without amazing maple tops, although they don't
offend me :lol: , and I used to be very "anti" the bird inlays, but I've grown to like them.
But anyway, having owned a few PRS guitars now, I think - most of the time - they simply feel better to play than similarly priced guitars from most other manufacturers. Good balance, nice neck shapes, and they usually have a wonderful resonance you can
feel through the neck and body as you play. I really like that "alive" quality.
