Some stuff
« on: May 28, 2011, 08:31:08 AM »
No reason to post this apart from I just put it up on the Musicradar forum and it didn't feel right not putting it up here.
Plus I hardly ever post pictures and we all like random gear shots on a Saturday morning before watching the F1 qualifying, going to the gym, going shopping, watching the champions league final, locking away the fiance whilst I play xbox live until the small hours...anyway, I digress...

My gear:

Feline Lion

Battered 90s Studio. Officially the world's heaviest guitar.
Upgraded Budweiser bottle top tone / volume controls (available at Tesco)

Musicman Axis Super Sport

These pedals

This amp. (Hat comes as an option if you ask MJW)

I have a high spec partscaster, a pacifica and a decent Takamine somewhere as well. No photos handy

Nice - especially that Lion. I'd really like one but, like Dave, I'm not really an LP man. The Zombie Tramp interests me, can you give us some info? Don't think I've heard (or seen) you mention it before.
I think I hate being indecisive.

I quite like the battered Studio. And the Feline top is, as always, beautiful :B

+1 to all of the above.

The Feline looks beautiful.

Just how heavy is the world's heaviest guitar, by the way?  You know I have this obsession with weight.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Cheers guys.
If the photos are well taken it's fluke. I no nothing about photography!

As to the world's heaviest guitar, I'm not sure. I don't own scales. I'll have to weigh it next chance I get and update you.
Comparing to my other guitars I'm guessing it's between 10-12 pounds.

The zombie tramp is a phase 45 clone I ordered off Juan Solo whilst a bit pissed.
I just asked him to build a phase 45 clone and demanded it have a picture of a zombie on it.
I recommend drunk shopping, you never quite know what you've bought until the next day.

I only get drunk a couple of times a year, but next time I'm drunk and in the house I'll send John a pm demanding something ridiculous and see what turns up. I'm sure he will help!

Well, there are many worse things you could have ordered whilst pissed. I might give drunk shopping a go one day!
