I like the first one. Maybe a pearl pickguard with white pickups as an alternative.

it's already white on white so i don't really want to keep the same color scheme.

i was thinking turtoise and cream pickups...

Here's my ESP 400 series strat (about 25 years old now) which I had pimped about 15 years ago.

Your project reminded me so this might help.
