Cheers bro's. I was anxious how VHII/MM-middle would balance in split-mode. Quite good actually. There is nevertheless a serious volumedrop when going from hb to splitmode. More then on my swampashstrat with Crawler/IT's. But it is acceptable and the splitsound has enough meat.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

So looking at the "standard" HSS sets on the BKP product pages, they're VHII/IT and Crawler/MM - you've got the opposite!  Good choice, or would you be tempted to try swapping them round?
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Not for the moment, since it's just wired. But it's possible and the sc's all have white covers. But, I can't see why the Crawler could not match IT's and the VHII not the MM's. The Crawler has serious mids and the IT's have more mids then the MM's. The VHII has more chime/ a brighter topend then the Crawler and I think that's not a bad combo with the brighter MM's.
I'm very pleased with the Crawler/IT's combo in that particular guitar. I just wanted something different for this guitar, another sonic inspiration. The VHII sounded great on a Marshall JVM (not my amp and not my favorite at all. just for a quick test). I will test the bucker soon on my Rockerverb 50 head/cab and experiment a bit with the height. The MM's are really great for Frusciante-tones. They have more woodiness then IT's. Didn't test them with overdrive. I let you know.
