Anyone Owned One????

Always learning here!
Thanks guys.
Did not know about Heritage.
After reading more on Carvin I am less inclined. Basically they are very fancy/complicated (ones I see) and really want a more simple layout.
I am looking for a good "deal" , not to bring back and sell but I always keep in mind if it is "saleable" just in case.
My Gibbo is at the Luthier for setup/checkup,my jackson is awaiting the total refinish.
I am more interested in somthing like this;

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7383456196&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

this one is WAY cool but I would never play it for fear of spoiling the finish (normally hate such flamoyant schemes but like this)

this is nice

but unless see somthing I cannot leave alone I really should wait for this and go and drool and see what I can find;

Will see.

That snake skin SG is sooooo coool. 8) I'd go for that. I wouldn't worry tto much about damaging the finish. And for $750.- it's not over expensive either.

With the design ALL over the guitar it IS cool.
Looks like the SG is WAY expensive (not factoring in the paint job mind you) for an X series. And to be honest, it would be displayed on a wall and not played, I know how I am :(. Do love it though. The guy does some Excellent work!

its nice but im not one for flashy paint jobs. in fact that b.c rich is really growing on me- its just so simple- which is exactly how i like guitars. i think its far cooler to have a sleek understated guitar which sounds excellent than a flashy guitar which sounds average.

I have  a Carvin Bolt-T. I like it an awful lot. It has very nice build quality. I will say this there used to a be knock against Carvin as far as resale value went. But that has apparently gone up. And also there are some whispers about some less then great customer service recently but I can't attest to it first hand.

Carvin keeps their prices down by only selling direct. Like I said before their build quality and materials are very good.

I hope this helps. If not feel free to PM me.
