RGD2127/conductors?
« on: August 18, 2011, 06:04:33 AM »
I've got a new guitar on the way and I'd like to purchase a set of aftermaths for it but I'm a bit confused on the conductor bit. It's got a 3 way switch and I don't really care about coil splitting. Should I grab the 2s or is it still a good idea to go with 4s? Is there any benefit?

Also is there a gallery for the covers? I saw there was a gallery in the forum itself but it seems none of the pictures in it want to load on my iPhone.

i would go with 4 conductor just incase you later decide you want to try alternative wiring options or if you come to sell them on it helps i have found.

Nice guitar by they way i love the RGD series

and i think the gallery on the forum is the only one

Awesome. Easier to install is all I need to hear seeing as I'm probably going to attempt this myself.

bkp's are supr easy to put in yourself.

My nailbomb set came with the wires pre stripped and tinned and the 2 coil tap leads already soldered together and taped off

Awesome, I've never soldered before but I can be pretty handy when I need to be. What's the worst that could happen?? Haha

worst is really killing a pot . I did it on my 1st install when I had never slodered before . some solder dripped from the tag into the pot

but then I learnt to change pots too .
