I played the Mesa Stiletto in a store once. Was very disappointed. It sounded like the world's most expensive JCM900.
Didn't sound like a Mesa, nor a good Marshall.

On topic - my current amp GAS :

Oh... Maybe tubes need changing? :/ I'm only judging that off the looks tbh, I've been too busy to go to the shops lately.
Whenever I want to try a guitar out at the shop, I have to remind myself that I WILL have to play with rusty strings. That makes a huge difference (a very bad one)
Lol, and I imagined this topic going very differently... Like posting around your top five GASes and then having others discuss and narrow things down based on your current set up and style. But oh well

My friend has an Stiletto Ace and always having trouble to find the right sounds. To me it sounds boxy and thin. My Rockerverb has way more balls and thickness. Just my experience, maybe others can dial in stellar sounds on the Stiletto.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

I'd go with the JA-90 (I ALMOST bought one. Seems to have everything different/right) and possibly an A-Bomb. By nothing beats the feeling of a new guitar... You need no more pedals or amps haha
I have a typical Humbucking guitar, an Ibby RG (metal Superstrat(I don't play metal)), and a Tele.
Which is your suggestion?

Gibson Les Paul Jr

Schecter PT (Heart wants it so much, not really logical though. A slab sided, double cream bound Tele with buckers

Yeah, my pedal collection is good with the TT it gives me a great range of sounds, just the reverb (and at some point a delay) is what I wish for...especially for the clean stuff.

THe JA-90 is highest on my list atm, though it has been a while since I played one, would have to try again now, since I think my taste for necks and all has changed a bit. Still I think I will get it next, it felt so good last time. I also just need something like it for clean play and full chord rock stuff (and things like Jimmy Eat World of course) with just that sound it can deliver (with BKPs of course).

The A-Bombs for the Dean are rather low on the list, cause it has the Petrucci Signature Dimarzios (LiquiFire and CrunchLab) in it, but after switching to BKPs they just donīt really cut it anymore...feels rather lifeless...not right. Well, still better than stock.^^

From the two you posted....well, I am gonna be direct and honest: I hate the first one, looks really ugly to me. Maybe it plays great, but its looks are not for me.
The stargazer...looks real nice (especially with those crome PUs. I could see myself doing some nice (hardrock) or classic metal with that. It has something about it I just like. The white parts really make that axe.

I think the PT is a nice plank. I would put raw nickel covers on it, to give it a, ehh.., more raw attitude.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

Guitar: Gibson Les Paul Studio (silverburst) w/ Holydiver and Mule
Amp: Mesa Roadster Head, Port City 212 cabinet
Pedals: Not much really, a Carbon Copy Delay, Boss NS-2, Digitech Bad monkey, Boss CE-5 Chorus

Guitar GAS: I am really GASing hard for a PRS Custom 24, or a PRS in general. Not much longer and I'll probably be selling my LP. It feels like a burden to me.

Amp GAS: I haven't had amp GAS for a while. My Roadster can pretty much do anything. If i ever have amp GAS it's usually for a Bogner  :D

Pickup GAS: Blackdog, Nailbomb, Painkiller, Aftermath, VHII neck, CS neck, HD neck

Mostly a metal player, but I've been eyeballing the Jazzmaster lately. Also with Tony on some freed up cash for amp builds. :)

Also, Wolf Hoffmann's Jackson gets a peek or two a week from me. I think it was Gwem who posted a different pic a few months ago, but I really dig the messed up finish, the pickup layout and the headstock choice. Just one of those axes that stick in your mind I guess.
