Crumbs. I wonder why they didn't like it? What is there not to like? :lol: (Actually, someone who wanted more modern or hi gain would find it a bit lacking mebbe, but I wouldn't have thought someone like that would have bought it or even considered it)
I tried some of the other "little" Laneys at some point, and they were nice, but not enough for me to get my wallet out at the time. The CUB10 and CUB12 just screamed "play me" when I turned them on though. I was a little worried that the one I bought wouldn't sound so fab in my living room when I got it home - but if anything it was even better. Even the missus could hear what I was talking about, it sounds "old" in a good way...
It'll be interesting to hear how you and your Gibson take to it... my 335 loves going through the CUB12, I have a feeling that the CUB10 would have been even better for the mood I'm in recently.
