Modern HB for alder/maple Strat

I've not run this by Tim yet, but wanted to ask your opinions. I have an alder/maple Strat that currently has Trilogies in it and whilst they are brilliant, I'm finding myself yearning for a bridge humbucker.  I love the Nailbomb in my LP and I LOVE the Miracle Man in my Jagstang. I would happily go for another MM but am worried it might be a bit too much in the top end in a brighter guitar.  I've seen a lot of recommendations for the Holy Diver in this sort of guitar but am not sure, I think I would prefer a ceramic pup. Am now leaning towards the C-bomb...
Mainly playing modern hard rock, nothing very metally, standard tuning or drop D.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

For that type of music, I'd personally stick with Alnico. The Holy Diver would be a great bridge pickup for that guitar. Even the Alnico Nailbomb would be a great choice.

Thanks - I've no experience of the HD, and from the descriptions just a little worried that it's not quite aggressive enough...but I am willing to be convinced otherwise...

I think the Holy Diver would suit you well. It's often said that it really shines through in alder.
