I agree that this is a prime choice for either a ceramic Warpig or Aftermath. To help out:

-C-pig: massive, very saturated/compressed, very tight, low resonant peak
-Aftermath: much leaner/punchier, extremely tight, more aggressive midrange voicing

Are they "basswood" friendly? I've been recommended the Miracle Man, what do you think about that?

The c-pig sounds great in basswood. basswood is kinda neutral in the low and high area of the spectrum. But it has some midrange'ish peak. Thats why shredders digged it alot back in the days.

Dont get more confused. The miracle man is very big sounding, it's in my opinion not suited for tech stuff. I have a friend which is one of these new death/tech shredders. And he has cold sweats in his hufschmidt.

The safest bet for satisfaction would still be a aftermath though.. now order it!

C-pig! That is what you want for sure. I have it in my basswood Ibanez tuned down a full step. It is perfect. You have to play with the height to get it just right. When I first got it I was like meh until I found that sweet spot.
