Question regarding my 'to be' Miracle Man Set's DC Reisistance

OK, I just wanted to clear up this confusion regarding the DC Resistance. I was under the impression, the neck is usually less due to the fact that the strings vibrate more in the neck position, and that makes the pickup louder. It just seems that the Miracle Man is the only pickup in the range which has a DC rating within .1 Wouldn't the neck be much louder? And would I need to drop the pickup lower to balance it out? If so, wouldn't it have been easier to make it a lower DC so the pickup could be higher, etc. I'm a little bit confused, if somebody could be kind enough to explain. Cheers :)

As I understand it, the magnets make the difference - neck is Alnico V and bridge is Ceramic.

No doubt someone who actually owns a Miracle Man set will advise if there actually is an issue with the relative output levels.  :)

The Miracle Man is the oddity in the BKP range for that
It was one of the first few BKP designs along with the Warpig and Mule
The windings on the neck and bridge  pickups are very nearly identical

The neck MM is LOUD, but if you consider the job it was designed to do then it replicates  it well
The Miracle Man was seen as an alternative to the EMG81 & EMG85 set that Zakk Wylde had in his LP and used on the Ozzy Track of the same name
On Zakk's guitar the neck pickup was typically a bit louder than the bridge - unless backed off someway but it gave a really lively soloing tone

On some guitars I have paired the MM bridge with a CS neck and it works well where I wanted a less intense neck pickup and there are other times where only the neck MM will do

They do pair together well , but remember the application they were designed for or else you could feel that the neck pickup is a bit OTT

The neck pickup can be used as a bridge pickup too and has a good sound - warmer than the Ceramic MM
