Warmoth do a V body - no option for a Tele bridge or control cavity, but you could get one with no bridge rout and a rear control cavity, then just have a "cosmetic" Tele control plate on top.  I'm warming to the idea.....

after i wrote that i did go check Warmoth :)  i think it might be better getting someone like Sims to do it, and indeed i'm seriously considering thinking about it  :P

I'd be very interested to see what they'd charge.  The Sims business looks pretty impressive, but expensive - the only thing I've bought from them was a custom scratchplate which cost quite a lot.

Well, it's quite hard to work out actual prices because they have long lists of options rather than totals - so for a body its a blank, then so much for routing, so much for body contouring, so much for binding etc.... I suspect it adds up quite quickly.

i just saw that. could, indeed, add up handsomely.  well, no harm in asking.  i was thinking about a mirror scrathplate for another guitar too, i might ask about it as well
