7 string pups in my new Ibanez
« on: January 25, 2006, 12:00:36 PM »
Hey guys.

Yesterday morning i received a very nice package, which for once in my life i was pleased to wake up for ( since the last time, anyway ).

In the post i received a Nailbomb and Cold Sweat for my new Ibanez RG 7321. Me and my brother had decided to install them ourselves to save some money and time. At first it seemed confusing but we worked out fairly quickly.

Here is a picture:

I need to buy some screws for the pickups as they are sitting too low, but after that, they should be fine.

I should be recording some clips tonight if I get the chance. They sound phenomenal.

Again thanks to Tim and Steve for all the help choosing and obviously making such great pickups. nice one guys!

These sound EVIL   ( not the neck, neck is really beautiful...haha )

I got it for £250 new, so it was quite a deal ( down from £350 i think ). The pupswere cr@p, but that is all sorted now. What Ibanez are you getting?

Also, are you on the Necrophagist forums?

Is it the mounting screws your having trouble with? It may be a problem getting screws with the same thread because they are in imperial mesurements.
Glad you like them!

Cheers for the info, I actually used the old screws from the last pikcups as the other ones would fit in the screw holes. I may try again.
