Miracle Man vs Active /sound check/

Hi guys...Finaly I got chance to compare Miracle Man which easy became to my best metal pickup with active pickup SBS electronic which is actualy clon of EMG 81 but bit better to me ...I recorded two sample tracks with same setup just for comparison....Guitar with MM is all mahogany other one with active has mah body and maple neck....You can hear similarity in sound...MM sounds much tighter,clearer and itīs more pleasant to hear instead SBS sounds more raw and udefined a bit and of course has bit more gain...

That active one covers up your half-assed pick attack much better :lol:

Just joking, but with mindless, monotonous chugging like that it's hard to tell where each pickup really shines...

Yeah...I chose that chuga rif because you can easy recognize Miracle man´s clarity and dirt of active pickup and difference are nice hearable...But you´re rigt longer track with some more rythms and some soloing would be great...I´ll do it this way next time.....Miracle Man vs Cold Sweat....
