Heritage Guitars - a question

I've been thinking once again about ordering a Heritage Les Paul.
Sent a couple of questions to the company with regards to specs, pickups, the usual stuff.
The replies I'm getting are short, barely helpful and are frankly putting me off ordering one

I had a question for them a year or two ago. I got a decent reply then. Helpful, friendly...
Anyone have an email contact other than the one on their site?

If you've dealt with Heritage over the last couple of years (I believe they had a restart in 2008?) or bought a recent guitar of theirs, I'd love to hear your experiences.

Why not get one from one of our fine builders or even someone like John @ JXG Guitars

never been able to get past the headstock...quality builds,hate to hear the customer service isn't matching up for you

I had an oldHeritage LP that was nice , although it was v v heavy.
Mine dated from about 1988 or so and been made for a player called Doug Boyle who was playing for Robert Plant.
I liked it but not it's weight, and I agree the headstock was something of an acquired taste.

Might be worth looking at the LP style guitars I make.
The pros and cons of my equivalent Lion model have often been discussed on here and there are a number of threads  if you do a search.
It's my favourite guitar to make, and I think it shows... :D

They're quite good value from what I heard and read. You have to like the headstock, but compared to Gibsons in this pricerange they are supposed to be superior. Never played one though. There are two Heritage Les Paul for sale on Marktplaats.nl, one with humbuckers and the other with Lollar-P90's.

Yeah - it's kind of like joint first place , although I enjoy getting the oohs and ahhs that I get from people  when they see one of my Lions/LPs, whilst it's a more select range of players who get the V

Same experience here with a Heritage Les Paul I once had the chance to play - nice guitar but very very heavy.
