Nice find.  I need to mess with my modelling amp to make my HM-2 work.  I've found that the amp only needs it's tube screamer from time to time and anything else goes to shite real quick.  6505 and Dual Rec did sound the most promising but didn't have much time to fine tune so better get to it.

I was wrong about 6505 and Dual Rec.  My amp has a krankenstein model in it.  A default setting called Krank - It.  Combined with the HM-2 and my Warbeast 1, it all chainsawed nicely  :D

I like your style, grind!!!!

Having played with the HM-2 a bit, I think it might sound best feeding a slightly dirty amp rather than a clean tone.  Anyone? (with experience in getting the best from the HM-2).

The usual "oldest trick in the book" is usually to have all controls dimed, and the actual distortion on 1, fed into an amp on the dirty channel. Works like a charm, pretty much everytime!

I used my metal zone to drive the sound with the HM-2 before it.  It sounded very nice  :D
