Matching BK's with amps
« on: January 08, 2012, 03:59:22 AM »
I have a set of mothers milk and the mule on a 74 strat (previously routed) and play finger style as a hobbyist. Any Recommendations?

BKP don't require a special amp, so the usual recommandations will apply. You don't say much about your playing style or the kind of tones you're after, but given the "finger picking" mention, guitar and pups choice I assume you're mostly into clean to slight bluesy / country OD tones, so Fender is the first thing that comes to mind.

You want something with a lot of headroom. Any bigger amp could provide this, but choicel depends on what tones you're after.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.
