Slightly off topic, but since it's an Esquire thread...

.... what would be a good pickup choice for an Equire?  I'm thinking something relatively hot, like a BG50?

Powertron Plus ;)

I am actually putting together (or intending to put together.....) a '72 style Thinline with a pair of TV Classics.

But this will be another one.  I'm thinking either standard Tele pickups with a 4-way.... or an Esquire.

The BG50 really is a peach of a pup.

Goddammit, I forgot you were following this thread!  :x

I WILL complete at least three Warmoth/Fender/MJT projects in the next few months, I swear.  I have almost all the parts ready to go (.....apart from scratchplates and some pickups....  )

Thanks for the replies and wiring diagrams. Had a bit of a set back, a couple of the machine heads were badly damaged in transit and the bridge is a bit knackered, so i'm waiting on some replacement parts grrr.. patience is not one of my virtues :P
