I have a small favour to ask...

My band's page on facebook currently has 201 'likes', we need 400 to be considered for a fairly decent sized festival in Newcastle.  I'd appreciate some 'likes' from you guys - we don't bombard anyone with loads of messages either.

Why on earth a festival should care about your facebook like count rather than what you sound like and whether you're professional, decent people I do not know!

Its to do with turnout - the more people who follow the band the more will come to the gig (I'd imagine thats the thinking).  I can't imagine that any local covers band at the bottom of the bill is gonna make any significant difference to turnout.

Thumbs up for everyone who's liked us so far - need that 400, ha ha  :lol:
