hello bkps I know its down to personal tastes but I have a Gibson LP Standard in Honeyburst and will replace the pups with BKP Mules. I am thinking of zebras, any opinions most welcome.

+1
Standards + Zebras = SEX
Really nice - I guess thats part of the aesthetic appeal of the standard faded series, which i'm creaming over lately.
LOVING the Mules!

Can you post a pic of the guitar?

Zebras, chrome or nickel usually look good on such a guitar.

i jsut thinking open coiled humbuckers clutter guitars up too much- make em look a bit too 'busy' if you see what i mean....

Reverse zebra's Black Dog's in the blue one.

Chrome covered Emeralds in the tobacco sunburst one (should have gone for nickel really...).

Zebra's look great in LP's, but so do covered...
Bibble.

Something aged would look right IMHO. Aged chrome or aged nickel. Great for that Jimmy Page look.

I'd go with raw nickel on the LP keith! Or do a Jimmy Page and have the bridge one uncovered and zebra and neck raw nickel.
