I was going to say- My Feline has an uncoated maple neck and it is straight as a rod and gorgeous to play on!

Completely raw maple, not even an oil finish?

Yes - it is a three piece and it did have a sealer coat and oil coats too
It just feels like bare wood

Yes - it is a three piece and it did have a sealer coat and oil coats too
It just feels like bare wood

can you do something like that but with a set neck, and a painted body/headstock?
