Thanks lads. Yes it feels good to be working in this game again. Just finished my first week. It's a big & busy firm. They have loads of work on this year.
That agency work is a stripe up. 5:00am starts, 10-11 hour days and I couldn't even break £300 a week. They're having a price war by cutting hourly rates as they can get away with it because of the amount of lorry drivers who have lost their jobs. It's get on with it or someone else will.
Anyway back in a 8 wheel 'RoRo', it's much better delivering pallets or humping loads of food into restaurant kitchens around the West End. Yes Gwem that's the type. You can put different size containers on the back from that size 20 square yards to 50 or site storage containers ect.
I won a sweepstake at Cheltenham today too. My lucks changed at last :)

Well in ...............and whats so special about this Koch of yours I keep hearing about anyway

I've had a fair bit of mileage out of the Koch jokes over the years. Like 38th said best not go there. Type Koch in search and it comes up a lot (sorry  ) in threads going back as far as 2005.

This was the other day just down the road from Chelsea FC. See all the reclaimed bricks. They're Victorian Stocks and they're worth a fortune these days.

I just want to point out that there are many of us around these here parts that have had the pleasure of Johns Koch, and suffered certain degrees of pain because of it.

Yep, I've had a go on Johnny's Koch.

I'm glad I did, just to say I've been there, done it... but I think I'll stick with my own in future

Ha ha, I didn't mean to discourage the jokes-I marvel at the ingenuity  that can wring humour from the same theme after all this time.
