NGD a few days late

A very familiar one.  I picked up Dave's Esquire on Saturday.

The switching on this is perfect, usable tones in every position, unlike other esquires.

I did adjust the neck as I like a little bit of relief, and was surprised that under the pickguard its routed for a neck pickup, and the adjustment screw is accessable without removing the neck.  Spot on for me now.

I've got nothing against a humbucker in the bridge position either.

In fact I was planning an HSS Tele project.  Never to be built, of couse..... and now definitely never to be built, as some $%&#er has bought the body I had my eye on today.  :(

A HSS-tele could be the ultimate versatile guitar for a coverband. Saint Blues made a HSS-tele I quite like.
