Pickup selection for Tele
« on: March 27, 2012, 05:32:58 PM »
I have a Tele with a Rosewood neck.  It has a neck Humbucker and standard single coil bridge.  I am looking for suggestions on selection.

I am primarily a blues player and do not play with a lot of effects.  I use 2 rigs, Carr Viceroy and an Eleven Rack with a 3rd Power SV-3015

Thanks

I think a great versatile combo for your style would be the Bluackguard 52 and a Mule-neck.
If you desire an AV-magnet and a brighter necktone, check out the RiffRaff.
Another option is the hotter but still broadcaster-esque Blackguard 50 and a Misssippi Queen HB P90-neck.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

I like the p90 idea, excellent!!!
The blackguard 50 was what I thought as well.

Thanks for the feedback
