This has made me very sad indeed. I have spent two decades of my life chasing that Marshall sound.

Apart from one of the original Guvnors, I've never actually owned a Marshall. But it's been part of my rocknroll dream on and off ever since I can remember. He took some good pictures as well.

I met him years ago on a Marshall stand at a music show. He was so helpful and down-to-earth, kind of not what what I'd have expected from the boss of the whole thing. I didn't even realise who I was talking to until someone pointed it out as I was walking away.
