Yes, the music and instrument world has lost a true innovator. Many of the albums that are the soundtracks to our lives are powered by Marshall's.

Probably get flack for this from everyone, but just a suggestion. Maybe have a national silence our amps day in honor of Jim? Then again, he'd probably be the last one to say that...

Definitely a sad day, but think of what joy he brought to the world. $%&# a minute of silence. A moment of pure loud awesomeness I say.

So sad to hear of his passing.
My thoughts are with his family and friends.

What an amazing life he led when he was here though and he gave so much to the world of music we all love.

I met him a number of times over the years and he was a lovely guy - we'll all miss him!

I've a few of his works, and they certainly do the job!

Rest In Peace Jim.

 :drink:

It is a good thing, his passing.  There will be few Amp makers that will be on the level of his Legacy.  He contributed so much.  Now he is on his cosmic journey.  Is it sad?  I don't feel sad about it.  I send only smiles, and joy to keep him company on his journey.  I also crank my power section up for him.  Cheers Jim!
