New Bravewood Strat

I just picked up my new Bravewood strat.  It's an Ice Blue Metallic 67 with a bound neck and custom Bare Knuckle 67 Strat pickups.

It has amazing aging - look at the cracking here

It is more subtle in real life and is also extensive, the headstock has it too, as does the back.  It is really like the real cracking on my 1963 Burgundy Mist.

I'm the same as Afghan Dave on the bound neck. I don't really go for bound necks (even the Gibsons I own don't have them)... but even though I read it, I didn't really notice it at first on the pics of this one! :lol:

Thanks everyone.  This was one that I've been thinking about for a while.  It has a brass trem block and the big CBS headstock. I don't know which of these affects it most, but it has great sustain.  John hadn't used this colour before but it came out great.  I think he might use it on some more, though I think it is a CBS colour.
