Im new to these pups so bear with me.  I need you to recommend me some pups.  They'll be going in a chambered lp.  I play classic rock, new rock and blues.  I want them to be able to cut through the mix well,  have a clear soufull clean tone and distort well.  So far Im thinking either Stormy Mondays or vh2's.  Tim can you help me decide  :?:

Hi Sean, welcome!

Did you happen to check the players section? The Stormy Mondays aren't on it yet but there are some VH2's. The Mule is also worth checking out for blues and classic rock.

I guess Tim will have the final word in this topic

Hi, welcome to the forum:

I'd suggest looking at the Mule set, VH IIs or for a serious 'silly grin' the Crawler set which we had in a LP at the LGS this weekend and they sounded awesome.

Hi, my LP on the avitar is chambered.  I have a Riff Raff with Alnico V in the bridge and a Stormy Monday with Alnico IV in the neck.  The combined sound is the old Peter Green tone.  They are great for rock and clean up into a really beautiful clean blues tone.

Having said that, VHII's are also awesome pickups.  I have them in a PRS with the 5-way selector and can't believe the sounds I can get.
So many pickups, so little time

I was also looking into the stormy monday neck and the mule bridge.  I was reading another post where you were talking about this combo.
