yup its been sorted- sounds sweet!!! the difference is subtle but still great- it goes from a quite twangy/trebly sound which gives me a bit more "cut" to a slightly softer sound with the edge taken off. its a bit like switching between rhythm and treble on a normal lp (which i obviously cant do as i only have one pickup). can give you detailed info maybe a sound clip if you want: are you interested in getting one then? the way i see it you might as well get a tap fitted on ALL bk's you get as tim does it for no extra charge!!!!
and tap aside, the pickup itself is magical.... like i said earlier its brought my crate to life and at the moment i prefer it to my laney lc30!!! the only thing lacking from my crate before was some 'oumph' it had some pretty good tones but was a bit of a weakling... it was loud enough but it was balls not volume that it needed and now it sounds like a beast.... ive got a quick clip of it that i recorder last night but ill have to get on to that hosting site business to post that...
