Interestingly, at such an affordable street price, this new, Mexican-made Cabronita is likely to compete directly with the popular homebrew build-your-own La Cabronita market, which sprang up as a result of the ultra-cool Custom Shop original's desirability.

Interesting that they're even acknowledged the "homebrew" market, it doesn't usually get mentioned much.

Warmoth have been selling La Cabronita bodies for quite a while now.

Agreed with Dave, it's a shame they've gone for the default "Modern C" neck shape, very boring.

Here's a shocker for you all, I don't like Cabronitas. But then I don't like humbuckers.

Telecasters should have telecaster pickups, this is the natural way of things. A tele with a bridge humbucker just isn't a tele.

Looks great to me! Strangely I've always liked the black, white, maple look of Fenders the least but on this model I think it looks best!

Could do with a chunkier neck I reckon.

Looks like a fine guitar. But: only three colours. I would fancy one in sonic or daphne blue. I wonder how the wannabee TV-Jones hold up to the original.
