I'm also hoping for a Feline Lion Supreme because after seeing numerous pics and clips of it and the specs I'm convinced that it is my dream guitar :D

Also hoping to begin building more guitars on my own... I rarely find the time and the ones I have built have been for my family...

Gibson Les Pauls are my favourite guitars but I don't have any on the list because
1) They have 300k volume pots and pcbs and I don't want to deal with replace them.
2) Im very happy with my current les paul.

but ruling out the hardtails & wacky pickup equipped models, it doesn't leave THAT much in my price range.
I might even rule out models with blade switches, and after that ones with overtly quilted tops etc.

Can't please everyone - I don't like most PRS' myself, the Santana is the exception along with the Mira.

Yeah, fair enough.  I'm not fond of the Santana myself, but I've grown to like most other PRS models - although I am wary of the odd-shaped pickups on certain models, I prefer to stick with regular humbuckers!

Long time by your standards! I've not bought anything since your SGR either (though an epiphone riviera did accidentally turn up and my bank balance took a hit - not my fault!) and I'm having a similar sort of feeling about that. They say true love grows over time - certainly true with guitars.

Don't agree with your preferences in instruments at all but it is certainly a nice feeling to find something you just keep finding more and more from, whatevrr that happens to be for you.
