What is it with people not liking black hardware? On the right guitar it looks excellent. Very smooth and sleek but "powerful". I especial let love those really big black schaller hardtails with the fender style saddles.

I think we're basically a pretty conservative lot.  After all, the electric guitar itself has barely changed in 60-odd years!

I'm not a fan of black myself, I like the traditional nickel, chrome, occasionally gold.  Black just looks too "modern" for me, it can look great on some guitars, usually ones with bold, solid colours.  But those guitars themselves are a bit modern for my taste!

I read the black hardware comments first - and I did think "oh"... but when I saw it I really like it on this one (I'd probably order nickel myself :lol:, but this does look good with black)

oh i agree, i just think on that style of guitar, chrome (or satin chrome) would be nicer

though the more i look at that one, the more i like it :lol:

Logos are always tricky and I seem to get it in the neck no matter what I choose to do

I am looking at an idea of having a logo in the form of a cat stretching that is made up of the word Feline

It's kind of like when the Charvel logo looked like a guitar- I always thought that was cool

I've just been playing with Inkscape and was thinking of something to test it out with when I was re-reading this thread so I thought I'd have a go. Is the attached any use? It's a bit rough and it needs some cleaning up of course.
