New Flint Day!

 :P

Love this pedal. It's Neill Young in a box!

Fits nicely on the board. I think I am pretty much covered to do basically all sounds I would ever need with this setup.

I'm really inticed by the flint. I got a TC hall of fame and it's pretty cool and holds a lot of options, but from the clips I've heard the flint sounds great and I haven't got a tremolo. Maybe I should just get the flint and keep the hall of fame as well...  :?

Your board looks cool, Hunter. I would love to try out the timeline, but I'm affraid I wouldn't know what to do with all the knobs and possibilities... more  :?

Yeah I admit I am not using all the options of the Timeline, pretty much one preset for dirt and one for clean, but it is quite powerful. Makes you wanna have a stereo rig.

The flint is just pure mojo. Amazing for a digital pedal how much it feels and sounds highest quality analog.

Been a long time I made any. Let's see if I get around to doing some...

But check the Strymon website, amazing clips aplenty.

Congrats! Strymon-pedals sound stellar. I watch the Flint-clips months ago and was impressed by the buttery analog sounds. How they do it, it's amazing.

Ohh nice, tell me everything.

I have been eying reverb pedals for some time now and after getting the Timeline I was totally convinced by Strymon. Thing is I donīt know if I should take the possibilitys of the Blue Sky or get the Trem of the Flint. Both sound very tempting...one day I listen to more Wilco and want the Flint, next day more Fleet Foxes and I want the Blue Sky...

How good and versatile are the reverbs on this one?

Tough one - for me it has all I would ever want from a reverb unit. It can be very subtle, just adding a bit of width to all out space and everything in between. I also find that the brighter settings still work with guitar, especially the plate. Love it. But where it really shines is with Rev and Trem activated. pretty amazing!

Sounds real good...do you use it on front of the amp or in the loop? If in the loop, how well does it work in front?

I use it in the loop. But I suppose, if you play pedals into a clean amp, it will work great. Reverb into dirty amp? Hm I guess nono.
