Cool guitars, only the bladeswitch doesn't fit the rest of the guitar.

Finally!

I've never wanted to own a 7-string, but that looks really cool.  I like the bridge.

Will it make it to the UK though?  I've noticed that UK dealers have the Dave Navarro SE, but not the new 2012 Nick Catanese model.

Has that 7 got a carved top? Pretty much the only thing that's put me of SE's was the horrid looking flat tops.

The new SEs have carved tops, but they're not carved in the same way as the US models - it's more like a large flat area with some gentle contouring at the sides.

I still think they're great value for money, but "in the flesh" it's very obvious they're much cheaper guitars.

Those new ones look great but then again, most PRS guitars do look rather good.

513 = 5 pickups, 13 sounds

305 = 3 pickups, 5 sounds

There's a pattern  ;)

DGTs are great, but after gigging my DGT Std on Sunday I think I'm going to invest in another 408 equipped guitar.  I just have a thing for the tone of those pickups, although they don't suit everyone.

57/08 --> 57 pickups, 8 sounds?

Ok that was silly  :)

57/08?  1957 style pickup, first introduced in 2008  ;)

Same for 59/09 and 53/10...

Lovely guitars, am very tempted myself - but just don't get the idea of having 3 PRS 408 equiped (very similar) models  :?

Each to his own ... I have some PRS days, some Tele days, some Strat days, some Les Paul days ....... the PRSs are definitely the easiest to play but I find myself playing things on the other guitars that I would not normally play on the PRSs.

I only play one style - *me* - and the 408 guitars give me what I want.  I'd happily play them exclusively from now and probably will!  I want three as my #1 is too precious to go out gigging, and I want two for gigs.
