I'd just like to shared experiences/brag about going to see RHCP 2 nights ago!
The show was FAR beyond any expectations that I had... It was stunning.
Anthony, Chad and Flea are all 49 years old yet they ran around like 20 year olds, the permormances were stunning and the jams were amazing... Flea made the whole 50k crowd no only enjoy but be in awe of his bass solo at the beginning... Only seen Victor Wooten do that before!
Anthony Kiedis actually sang very well, he was out of key at the beginning of one song but otherwise he was great.
To make it even more exciting, Josh Klinghoffer had a broken leg yet for half the show he was hopping around on one leg! And once he even stood on both which must have hurt like a muthaf***er!
His playing was also great, coming from a HUGE frusciante fan! Josh lived up to any expectations and more.
The sound guy did a great job and the lighting was excellent.
I went there expecting a show far worse than there times with frusciante. Mediocre at best. I was extremely pleasantly surprised, they were amazing! I didn't think they had it in them at that age without frusciante!
Unfortunately there was an 11:00pm curfew so they had to cut the show short at 1 hour 40 mins.
