I think more people need to be made aware of the different ways we can recycle plastic, and the government need to be more proactive about it because of the large volumes of waste each year.

I looked into other methods for recycling plastic and found a great blog on how PVC-U plastic for window and door frames can be recycled 100% over and over again. http://www.eurocell.co.uk/9/news/post/1183/eco-plastic-why-you-shouldnt-be-afraid-to-use-pvc-u

The recycled PVC-U also looks completely new. More people need to be made aware so they can opt for business that utilize this when buying or getting rid of door/window frames.

If you have heard about the Plastic Continent -- the floating island of plastic twice the size of Texas in the Pacific Ocean -- then you understand how crucial it is to recycle plastic.

For some reason reminded me of

I believe  recycled plastic is the one of the best solution  by reducing the amount of plastic currently .Replas gives new life to the waste plastics in using a number of products including, plastic furniture, plastic tree guards, plastic signs, beach access, wheel stops and so on.

I think we should combat these particular bots but dumping plastic in a river somewhere. Or by burning a tyre in our garden.

My council doesn't even seem to want to collect my plastic recycling. I put the bin out on the correct day but the bin men are too lazy to come down the end of my road. I've rang the council several times to complain but nothing happens so I end up digging it out of my recycling bin and dumping it in the communal mixed trash.

We pay £300 a month council tax for that quality service.
